My Japanese Ice Festival Collection was inspired by the winter celebrations in Japan, where massive ice sculptures are built and illuminated with multi-colored lights.

This design was inspired by the popular myth of drowned Heiki warriors after the battle of Dan-no-ura. The warriors were said to be reincarnated as crabs, and ever since have symbolized trust, protection, transformation and regeneration.
